Baby Emma Blog

In keeping with a promise to myself, I’ve decided that the only way to keep an account of the first few weeks of Emma’s birth is to blog it with daily discourse and late night meanderings!

Parent Love

A beautiful sunny day today...the day after we come back from Rye, of course! Tough night last night, though. Emma was unsettled, but finally I was able to get to bed by 1am. You know, when the girls grow up, they will never really know or realise these things that we do for them until much later in life. I never thought about how much my parent's really did for me until I had children myself. You may know it in your head, but you'll never know it in your heart the love and sacrifice parents can go through in the first few years of a child's precious life!

To Mum and Dad, I can never say thank you enough!

ODD SPOT: Surgeons who listen to music during operations perform better than those who don't.

P.S: I find it hard to believe a surgeon listening to Black Sabbath is doing good things to my insides...!
