First Outing

Lill and I took Emma out on her first outing yesterday. Unfortunately, it was to a funeral! A friend of Lill's, his dad died, and so we went to pay our respects. It's the first Greek Orthodox funeral we've ever been to. There was grieving, of course, but for one brief moment, when the family first saw Emma, they had joy on their faces. So I'm glad we were able to interject something positive in their lives yesterday!
