Survival Instincts

Emma’s a strong little thing, she has a heck of grip when breastfeeding (so I’m told!) and she’s already lifting her head up even though she’s only been in the world for one week (yep, proud dad here!). I’m guessing this is an innate survival instinct, in which she’ll learn to also crawl, walk and run at a rapid pace, because let’s face it, when your sisters are Sarah and Jessica, you need every break you can get! Don’t get me wrong, I love my girls, and they love Emma….almost to death! Sarah is what I call rough and tough love - she’s a tomboy who would be perfect as Xena the Warrior Princess when she was three year old! And Jessica, well, she’s very much into dolls at the moment; she has a collection of them that go with her everywhere, including sleeping in bed with her! It’s like she’s amassed a gang, and it’s still growing! And she wants Emma to be part of it! She sees Emma like the ultimate doll! I hope Emma takes after her mother, because she needs to be thick skinned to take on the demolition twins!!!
